Technical Support Coordinator

The Office of Educational Innovation and Evaluation (OEIE) in Manhattan, KS developed a national health education evaluation tool called PEARS and is looking for a Tech Support Coordinator to join the team and assist in this endeavor! This position will support program evaluation by providing technical support and training for this and other web-based evaluation tools OEIE develops and maintains. Responsibilities include working with clients such as university faculty and other stakeholders at the state and local level, attending meetings and conferences as directed, and working with team members to enhance training and support materials. Candidates must have the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team and in a fast-paced deadline-orientated environment. Some travel is required.  Qualified candidates for this position must also meet the following criteria.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information well with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in diverse and changing environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing technical support for a web-based system
  • Experience in application testing
  • Experience in technical writing or writing for marketing
  • Basic understanding of program evaluation 

Salary: $37,500 – $46,000

Appointment Conditions: Term 12-month appointment contingent upon continued availability of funding and the need for these services.
